Noodle-dee-doodle

In honor of, or perhaps inspired by, all the Korean dramas I've been inextricably sucked into lately...I found myself at one of the larger International Markets here in town last Saturday. Surrounded by fresh Udon noodles, pork buns, and dumplings straight from Japan, I realized that I really had no idea how to cook with these ingredients. I bought a few things, and came back home hoping I had bought the right combination of things to make a meal with. I searched the internet for a bit, looking for a not too intimidating recipe, and settled on the one above, from steamykitchen.com. Looks delish, and tastes delish too. Wasn't difficult at all, just required a little more foresight than normal, as some of the ingredients weren't things I usually kept in my cupboard. On these cold winter days, a nice bowl of this warms up the soul just a bit.
