I was so, so happy last night to have the privilege of hosting a baby shower for my friends (and new neighbors!) Ashley and Matt last night. And even though it was hot as Hades outside, I don't think I've ever been a part of a more enjoyable shower. A really lovely group of people organized everything, I just had to clean my house and unlock the doors! Becca, Shonna, Christie and Tonya brought delicious food and beautiful flowers. Dave and Jim made everyone yummy drinks all night long. I don't think we had one of anything left over! My dear friend Jill decorated everything so beautifully, as you can see from the pictures. I didn't want to take it all down. I was so glad to get to know some of the folks that came by a little better, as we were all there to heap love and presents on the expectant parents. Such a wonderful way to celebrate the little boy that will be joining Matt and Ashley in about ten weeks time. Hooray for babies!
